PICS welcomes Ray Parsons as Regional Sales Manager - 27 October 2009
Phyle Inventory Control Specialists is proud to announce the addition of Ray Parsons to the PICS team as
Regional Sales Manager.
Ray graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors Degree and
immediately went into the inventory business. His experience developed through the positions of
District Manager, Operations Manager, National Accounts Manager and Divisional VP covering 40 offices
across nine states. During his 36 year career, Ray worked in various cities and states including
Atlanta GA, Birmingham AL, Memphis TN, Houston, Fort Worth, Dallas TX, California, Oregon, Utah
and Washington.
Ray has partnered with a wide variety of customers ranging from large format department stores,
home improvement hardware stores, mega department/grocery stores to C-Stores and drug stores.
Ray understands what Customer Service means, what your inventory means to you, and how to ensure
you receive the exceptional service you deserve from your inventory service provider. He understands
all the nuances in making sure your inventory is accurate and processed in the manner you are accustomed
to; without impacting your internal operations or customer experience at the store level.
When Ray retired, he returned to Dallas to spend time with his 5 daughters and 10 grandchildren. He has
been married to his wonderful wife, Juli, for 30 years. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time
with the grandkids, going to baseball games, traveling and going on cruises.
Quoting Ray; “I am excited about the opportunity to be with PICS and do believe our slogan which says it
all: An inventory company run by inventory people!”

PICS / Muscolino strengthens its Southern California Division - 6 July 2009
It is our pleasure to announce that Marty Davidson joined our company on June 8, 2009 as the District Manager Grade 5
for Southern California. Marty brings many years of inventory knowledge with him. During part of his career he was
employed by a competitor for over 15 years as the District Manager for Hawaii and Van Nuys as well as other positions
within their company. Most recently he was the Director of Operations for Muscolino prior to the company being purchased
by PICS.
Marty has been married for 8 years and met his beautiful wife while running the Hawaii region. He has two sons, 21 and 16,
and a daughter 14. He loves spending quality time with his wife, and enjoys watching movies. They also like to take an
occasional trip to the Nevada Stateline and enjoy the slot machines.

Vice President of Sales, John Phyle, states that being an active member of these organizations has increased our national presence through personal networking and member recommendations. PICS Welcomes Al Anthony as President - 2 April 2008
After 30+ years with a large, national inventory company, Al Anthony has joined the PICS team as President.
Al started taking inventories in 1974, and in 2005 resigned as Executive Vice President at his old company. During
these years, Al's customer/vendor relationship with Chuck Phyle, President and CEO of A.S.T., Inc. was a long term test
of moral and business principals. He was impressed with Chuck's work ethic and dedication in doing things the right way.
In 2008, Al was asked to come on board as President of PICS. He knows he is with an inventory company that has the technology
and desire to be the best.
PICS Acquires Muscolino Inventory Services - 13 August 2007
Phyle Inventory Control Specialists (PICS) announced today that it has acquired Muscolino Inventory Services (Muscolino). Muscolino has been in operation since 1947 and is headquartered in Arcadia, California; it is the largest regional inventory service in the southwest. Muscolino maintains twelve offices in Arizona, Nevada, and California. The new company will operate as PICS/Muscolino Inventory Service.
Today, PICS is one of the fastest growing national inventory services with a presence throughout the east from New England to Florida, and the midwest from Illinois to Texas. Muscolino is the third acquisition in the last six months, and gives PICS a solid presence in the west. This provides a great opportunity to service customers from coast to coast.
PICS' sister company, A.S.T., Incorporated has been in the inventory business since 1978. They have been a significant innovator and provider of hand held data collection equipment and related software to the inventory services industry. Both PICS and A.S.T., Incorporated are headquartered in Holly, Michigan.
Acquisition - 5 June 2007
On June 5, 2007, Bill Wright, the sole owner of Gohs Inventory Services sold the assets of the company to Phyle Inventory Control Specialists (PICS). Gohs has been a respected provider of inventory audit services for over 50 years. Located in Southfield, MI, Gohs serviced customers throughout the Great Lakes states of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. Bill will work with PICS Inventory Specialists through the end of 2007 to insure that the transition from Gohs to PICS is a smooth one for his customers. As Bill eases into retirement, we all wish him the best of luck.
Acquisition - 2 December 2006
On December 2, 2006 PICS Inventory Specialists, located in Holly, Michigan, acquired Action Inventory. Action Inventory, a Michigan based company, has been in business for over 25 years. Karen Haddad and her husband have been the co-owners of the company since its inception. Today, Karen is the new District Manager for Michigan, Northern Ohio and Northern Indiana.
Custom Built Technology for PICS - 1 November 2006
A.S.T., Inc. has been manufacturing handheld data collectors and software solutions for over 33 years. Being the number one manufacturer of inventory equipment with hardware, software and professional service, PICS was happy to work closely with A.S.T., Inc. to customize our software solution. This will be a key component that will enable PICS to very quickly take the industry lead.
